This trekking trip by Donkeys was a great experience! I had never done anything like this before with the exception of a handful of times hiking around the Washington DC area which is nothing compared to this. They were great in preparing all the logistics, permits, transportation, lodging, etc. Our guide, Aideep, and our porter, Jit, were perfect for our group. We enjoyed their personable guidance and companionship throughout our whole trip - not just trekking Mardi Himal. I would highly recommend Donkeys, especially Aideep and Jit, for their expertise and planning. My biggest worry was acclimatization to high altitudes. I did physical and mental conditioning to prepare for this trek but Donkeys is well-versed in the proper time and method to anyone acclimating. I had absolutely no issues with the high altitude or pace with which we trekked. All in all, I had a great time and I would definitely hire Donkeys again and again!
